First I must praise God this past week I was recognized on our weekly sales call in front of about 70 other managers and area managers for doing a great/consistent job. The praise came from my director of sales and is so out of character, I want to give God the glory because I have been praying that I would have the favor of God on my store and myself and I do, God is blessing me so much!!!! Thanks God, you are awesome!!!

I taught Sunday school this week and the scripture that was covered was Ephesians 4:11, where Paul talks about that there are some apostles, some phophets, some evangelist and pastors and teachers. This really goes in line with what our pastor has been preaching and challenging us to go out and have courage to share with others about Jesus.

One area that really caught my attention while preparing to teach this class is the idea of what is the model set up for church. Is it a pastor perched at the top like a little pope in his own church? What is your idea of the model church and the way it should be in todays church? I read where one church actually has on there bullitin, Pastor, Assistant Pastor….Ministers: Entire congregation…I like this idea, we are all called to be ministers, it’s not just the pastors. We must begin to think this way if we are going to have an effect on the lost at work and in our families. We can’t wait on somebody else to do something, God has sent us and we are the ones that he is expecting to minister to the lost, not just our pastors.

Evangelist is the most needed gift in our world today, we need people that are gifted in this area and we need people when the opportunity arises willing to give an effective personal testimony. 

Our pastor is equiping us, its now our job to go out and position ourselves to be used by God. We must have the correct posture with God, relying on God to put us in contact with people that need God and then we must effectively position the Gosple to the person in need and then God will do the rest. Again God is waiting on us, if your looking around for someone else more talented or gifted your wrong, its you God wants to use. There is a lot at stake, God please send people into our lives that need Jesus!!!!
