Bare with me while I get on my soap box, recently I was sharing with one of my sales reps about not being fake and allowing customers and for that matter ME, to see what is really going on in there life, instead they show the fake or fluff as I like to call it. In case you don’t know what fluff is and keep in mind this is a Toddism but here ya go. Fluff is when you would rather put up a fake facade, rather than allow someone to see what you really know and what is really going on in your situation or life.
Today pastor Mel preached a message that in my mind was talking about not being fake but being who God has called you to be, not imitating someone else or being who you think someone else wants you be but just be the person God has called you to be. Faking it through life is very dangerous, lots of people put up facades and place strategic smoke screens and mirrors to throw people off to what is really going on in there lives. This is not pleasing in God’s eyes and really limits his favor on there endeavors. God wants real, He wants us to be who He created us to be, not a fake imitation of the real thing.
I am so blessed right now because God has me right where He wants me to be, doing exactly what He has called me to do. That has not always been the case but it is right now. I pray that I can keep it real with God, and for that matter with people that I come in contact with and that they are able to see God’s calling on my life.
God you have your way in my life!!!!
