Well I had to opportunity the teach on Wednesday nights for what turned out to be the last two months and I wanted to share some of what I learned about preparing teaching and end times.
Be over prepared if possible, Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation are very in depth books, there are multiple angles involved and people have many questions but do you have the answers is the question.
People want you to tell them what you think (about a subject) and as well tell them what they should think!?!? If you are not sure or there maybe more than one opinion, well you better choose one because people don’t like it when you fence straddle.
People should be charged for classes, this might seem crazy but our attendance on Wednesday nights is much higher when we charge for the material covered or used (book, binder).
Overall people, (including me, before this end times study) don’t know where they are going when they die, and I am talking about Christians. We just don’t understand heaven and hell, where do we go, when are we raptured, are we judged, we just don’t have a clue and most people are scared to know or don’t care enough to find out.
We are living in the end times, now I am not going to say that it will happen in my life time but it is in the not so distance future!!! Jesus is coming!!!
UFOs might be a deception of the devil, I like this theory, someone in my class stated that once we are raptured that people will wonder where everyone went and they will say it was aliens and UFOs that have abducted us!!?!?
I have many questions about the Holy Days/Feast days, it is very interesting that the Feast days will be kept during the Millennium but we don’t keep them now??? I know, Jesus fulfilled some of them but don’t you think it is interesting that Jesus kept them while he was on the Earth the first time and when he comes back for a thousand years he wants us to keep them again??? Very interesting….
Well that is just some of what I learned over the last two months, it was a great opportunity and I enjoyed teaching immensely.
